If one wanted a duck lease from say, Lafourche parish west, how does one go about finding companies that lease that marsh/ponds/land?

You would contact the school board directly for something like that? Genuinely curious how that works. There is someone specific on the school board in charge of managing duck leases?

Any school board leases are for 7 year terms if my memory is correct.
You’re going to be leasing shite property for years in hopes that an entire family dies in a plane crash.
How deep are your pockets?

No, all I did was run recon to some locations for a couple of people. They were handling the bidding which there was nothing that interested us.

Like Kemosabe said ......

If a lease becomes availalbe - it't because it is WAY overpriced or shite.

Unfortunately, good leases don’t come available. Even the expensive ones.
