Maybe you could push the trailer against it and unhook the tongue. Maybe tilt the trailer from the front and try to winch it on. Just a thought.

I envision it getting halfway on and trailer rolling backwards into the water

And good luck winching a boat that heavy out of water.

This actually works. Saw my BIL do it when his 20 ft Gravois came of the trailer on the highway, (the winch latch failed) and I did it once when I had my trailer renovated.

To get it back on, just unhook the trailer from your truck, push the trailer to the front of the boat and line up the bunks, unwind your winch cable or strap and connect it to the bow. Start cranking. It literally sucks the trailer under the boat at first then starts pulling the boat onto the trailer. The trailer tongue will raise up in the air but you just have to keep cranking. It’s pretty amazing.

Had a friend there when it happened. Apparently 12-15 guys picked it up and got it back on the trailer. Definitely can’t do that in a fiberglass boat that size.
