This property is in Mississippi. I checked and the season ends the same day as primitive weapon deer season. If I see an opportunity I will let you know. I would love to try it out. I grew up quail hunting in SW Mississippi with english pointers but those days are gone.

I feed my 10 month old lab natural choice by nutro. It's pretty expensive but worth it imo. I feed him enhance brand extreme athlete during duck season b/c of the protein to fat ratio. Gives him a lot of energy.

I feed him 4 cups once a day in the afternoon. I do this (feed him one time in afternoon) b/c this is what his trainer did when he was in training.

talked to my uncle at Christmas about his two labs; they are two of the most fit and muscular looking labs i have ever seen. he told me he slightly under-feeds them and gives them plenty of exercise (he doesnt hunt). He said once a lab puts on weight its extremely hard to get it off of them. Just some info from a man who has had labs his entire life.
