Does anyone make a 800 FPS 22 round?

I have a HK MP5 22, suppressed. I've run CCI Quiet that say 710 fps and they wont cycle. Federal "Suppressor" run 970 fps and DO cycle.
Is there anything in-between ? Trying to get as quiet as possible and still cycle.

Aguila makes a 60gr round that is probably on the lower end of velo for 22

Not sure that slower FPS will be any quieter really. Most of the noise that you’ll experience is from the action.
I maybe wrong however.

Gemtech 22 subs are the best ever made but they don’t make any longer. 43 gr at 1042 FPS.
There is a guy on Bayoushooter that has 4000 rds for sale $100 per 1000 rds.

They make a lot of different lower power 22 rounds. I have some 32 grain without powder that are about 540 fps (I think). Sounds just like my 22 spring pellet gun when I shoot through my Walther. That's my new neighborhood varmint setup.

The speed of sound is 1125 fps. The loud report is your bullet breaking the sound barrier. The powder charge in subsonic rounds aren’t enough to cycle your action.
Suppressors can reduce the sound by as much as 30db. If your shooting a round that is traveling at 1200 fps and is 146 db. You are hearing 116 db.
Some barrels are particular what you feed them. Buy a box of several makes and see which one your likes the most.
Get on ammoseek.com and filter your search.
Hope this helps.

Not to be a dick, but did you read what I asked before you decided to educate me on the speed of sound and supressors?
I literally said the 900 and change fps subs cycle.
I understand the difference between subs and normal. I understand what a supressor does.
If I'm already shooting subs, and I know a lower powered charge won't cycle the action wouldn't it be apparent I kinda know what I'm doing already?

How long is your barrel? I can shoot standard pressure CCI out of my 6.5” ruger charger barrel suppressed without them going over the SB.

If you already have a sub sonic ammo that will cycle why are you looking for something 100fps less. Genuinely curious.

Remington sub sonics
Very accurate out of a Volquartsen 10/22 barrel

Trying to make it as quiet as possible.
There is an audible difference between the 710fps and 900fps. So I'm hoping a 800fps is quieter AND can cycle.

I shoot Norma tac s out of my Ruger pistol and bergara 22 bolt. Literally, the firing pin mech is louder than the round coming out the barrel and the sound of the action on the Ruger pistol is louder than the round, by far. Super accurate on the rifle too. 4 inch plate at 150 yards all day long. Minute of coon. :)

In my Taurus TX22 the 710 fps are indeed quieter than the 1050fps (or whatever it is). 710 does not cycle at all tho.

If the 710s are not cycling the noise difference is probably the action of the gun cycling the round. I’m Not sure if you get it to cycle then it will be much quieter than the 900s?

An 800fps round won’t be perceptibly quieter than a 900fps round in your setup. Maybe the other fellow thinks you don’t know what you’re doing because you are asking the question. Relax, the dude was trying to help.
I use “standard velocity” CCI 40gr which is like 1050fps and it’s just as quiet as the lower velocity rounds and has the highest energy possible for shooting through armadillos and raccoons.
If you have a 22LR suppressed pistol, you may even be able to use the “high velocity” rounds and still keep it super quiet and subsonic as the barrel of the pistol isn’t long enough to make the high velocity round supersonic.

Maybe not. But I can tell you the 710fps is noticeably quieter than 1050fps in my suppressed TX22 which is why I’m also interested in this thread. I shoot at rats in my backyard in suburbia.
