This is a spitting image of the bike my buddy Tee had when we were kids back in the early 70's. I was so jealous of him. I finally got my own bike, an XR-75, after saving my money from working a paper route. Tee on his Mini-Trail and me on my XR had some kind of freedom. His dad would bring him out to the country and drop him off with his bike, and we'd go wheeling down the dirt roads. We would go easily 5-10 miles away and think nothing of it. And our parents didn't worry all that much. Can't do that today. Last year my brother and I took our 4 wheelers down those same roads and promptly got ticketed by the local Green Jeans.

It's unreal anymore.
You have to feel that this is why so many kids are messed up, they never have that real freedom.

I had a QA50,a CT 70 and then a SL 125. All of them are hondas.

I believe the 50 you are talking about was called a mini trail.

I had the Honda Mini Trail 1970-handlebars folded down and we could carry it in the trunk of the Buick.

Then I had the CT-70 then XL-100, then CR-125 Elsinore

Then an 83’ CB-1100F

Later CR-250

Then I got married and this is my current Honda

Agreed.

I mean seriously, this is in a rural parish, literally out in the middle of nowhere. A washboard road that only farmers use to get to their fields.

I guess Green Jeans had nothing better to do.

Pack of German Shepards?

SWAT would have been called out. All the way from Opelousas.

I have a ct70 sitting in my shed for 25 years now. Last time I rode it there was a slight fire.

Been wanting to get it back running for a while.

Wheel hubs are locked up and it's a bitch to drag

So why buy this vs the Honda rebel? Trying to understand the true purpose.

Well, The Shriners rode them just to look funny in parades.
Honda still makes The Rebel?
