Do slip on recoil pads like Limb Saver work pretty well?

Yes, I have them on a couple of my guns.

I put one on my rifle simply to add a few inches to the butt. It works for that.

I use when shooting off a bench. It definitely takes the sting out of some of the harder recoiling rifles.

I don't have the slip on limb saver but I have a couple of the precision fit. I've already shot two boxes in 1 range visit with my 300 win mag with no soreness the next day. They are worth the money.

Limbsavers work awesome, but dont get the slip on get the precision fit, it is just 2 screws to install and looks so much better

I recently bought a Hi-Viz slip on. They offer different sizes. I like the styling. But I really use it more for lengthening the pull of the gun.

Will not regret the purchase
