If that deer came out in front of me, it would be like the cartoons when characters were stuck on the desert and saw water. I wouldn't believe it anyway. And if I did shoot it, I would ruin all hunters days within 10 miles for all the hollering I would be doing. I just want to SEE a deer that's not on the road while I'm driving or on tv, at this point.

It's my property in LA. 2 miles south of miss line above franklinton. Deer is by my wife's stand. She says it's too small. Its the yearling that had spots in October. It would be dead if it was by me haha
Forgot the buck only doesn't apply to me in the excitement of a damn yearling haha

There is no way on convincing her to shoot it. I've been trying. She said my lab would give us more meat. Her only deer killed was about an 80lb doe so she has been ruined on small deer since then

I'm in Concordia and the visibility is about 100 yards. I have a doe at the feeder and even knowing she is there I lose her.

Shooter buck walked out at 4. He didn't give new long to check him out so I made the call to take him. 260 yards and broadside.

The buck donkey kicked, fell, and then immediately got up and ran down the trail into the woods. No time for a follow up shot. No blood at edge of woods.

It's going in an hour and a half. I do not want to lose another deer this year. With the rain, wet woods, and bad coyote problem should I start my search or give him till morning?

With all the rain coming I would go search. No blood at all?
