Deal running right now on CZ P-09. I know in general they make quality guns but not sure about their pistols, any info or recommendations? Tia

I have a CZ 75 SP-01 and a 75 B and they are the best most reliable pistols I've ever shot. I have Colt 1911s and a P226 and the CZs top them all. Highly recommend

I have a 75 B SA, and I have zero regrets about buying it. I want more CZ's. I'm not familiar with the polymer versions, but I would bet they are good pistols as well.

I was looking to pick up a p-07 on the cheap. I decided against it due to the costs of factory magazines. I like to have a handful of spares, so at $45 per mag it made no sense to save a few bucks on the cost of the pistol

Another 75B owner here. First pistol I bought and still the best one I own IMO.

CZ makes fantastic pistols.

I have a 75 pre-B that is my favorite, I bought another for my son just to guarantee he doesn't take mine before I croak

the pre-B is older, phased out in 92 or so. Rounded trigger guard, no firing pin block, fantastic trigger. Been reliable with any/all ammo.
I also own a few other brands, and prefer my CZ over my Sig P226 and Beretta 92FS.

Also have a CZ 82, smaller, blowback in 9 Makarov. Also a wonderful shooter.

Haven't handled the polymer models, but I'd assume same quality is there relative to others.

I have had the P07 Duty in 9mm for the last 5 years. Fits my hand great and handles really well. Have had 0 issues with it having put about 750 rounds through it. I like that it includes the option for a safety/de-cocker which you can change out in 30 seconds.

Plus it’s one good looking piece.

I’ve got the P09 Duty and think it’s a great value and has held up perfectly through a few thousand rounds. Good value.

How is the trigger on it? I have a M&P and am not a fan of its trigger at all.

Does it have a lot of travel?

If you don’t like the omega trigger, you can send it to Cajun gun works & get it cajunized for perfection

Well I have never shot a CZ so dont know, are they similar to a M&P trigger or a glock trigger?

I’ve never shot an M&P so closest I can compare to is the glock & I favor the CZ triggerover the glock. Check out some YouTube reviews on the pistol. I honestly couldn’t find a negative review when I bought mine a few years ago.

I’d say it’s difficult to compare m&p/Glock to a cz p07 because they’re different actions. That said, I think the omega based cz triggers are nice for the price.
