Theres a thread on the OT asking the same questions. Get an 80 quart aluminum with dbl jet burner and be done with it. You can always put less water if you want to do half a sack.
My neighbor is a pretty simple fella, he fishes his Nannys pond for crawfish and boils more crawfish than anyone I know outside of someone who does it at a seafood market and used a 60 quart pot for years. He only recently got an 80 quart because someone gave it to him.

Been in Dallas for 25 years. The best supplier around by far is Cajun Crawfish company in Lewisville. Run by David Snell. And he will also sell you a half a sack once the quantities get rolling. He also boils them like we do and he will sell you a full or half-sack boiled. Personally, we look for public events he is catering and go eat his if it is just the two of us. Of course the price is sky high right now everywhere with the weird cold fronts coming through.

30 qt pot is a toy. Get you a 100qt pot. It will fit 1 sack comfortably with enough room to soak all the goodies. And furthermore, buy a whole sack. Half sacks are for people from Arkansas
