Looking for a covered boat slip with hoist in Delacroix, Reggio, Hopedale, or Shell Beach. I know there are a lot, just wanted a rec if you have one down there and have had a good experience. Just got a new Nautic Star 21xts and it's too big to keep at home. Pros/Cons, things to look for, etc...

Thanks!

I have a buddy that keeps one at Capt. Charlie's place in Hopedale. I am not sure what it costs him, but I believe it is at least $200 per month.
Everytime I have been there, all of his slips are full.

I don't think you'll find one in Delacroix. I was looking about a month ago. We can't keep our boats in the driveway in Metairie so I was forced to get storage. I think I saw a spot available in hopedale. It was listed on la sportsman. Mines at a storage place by my work. I just usually bring it home the night before I fish.

Not a lift but the storage at Hopedale Marina where you lock it up on your trailer is about $100 per month.

Shell beach would be best bet I think. Was working there Friday and saw a few slips with contact numbers. I'm in minority but delacroix is overrated. Kept a boat in my drive way for years in metairie. Is this new, plenty of parked boats in my neighborhood? I know Kenner you can't.

Yea I was gonna say that.....just take a ride down there and look for signs posted by slips. Last trip to SB I saw a fair many that looked to be available for rent, some with brand new docks.

See ya on the block down there
