Sounds like something I would like.

I was looking around Kroger yesterday and noticed they had a lot of frozen cod. What would be good to do with that? or, just skip it?

If you grill it, i like to leave the skin on one side and sear the meat side, this keeps it flakey and juicey.

Mayo in the microwave is an AWFUL idea trust me

Actually zesty Italian dressing is pretty damn good for marinating reds

I like grilled or baked on the half shell

Get a cedar plank, season with lemon pepper butter and black pepper. Grill for 15 minutes.

Throw away redfish

Eat the cedar plank

I can see ranch powder, but the dressing just doesn't seem right to me
If you're going to throw Italian dressing and butter on the fish, ranch wouldn't be that different. Oil vinegar and dairy.

Microwaving fish in mayo sounds like they were hungry or drunk.

Going this weekend and THIS is how I plan to cook my next redfish. "

CASHEW-GARLIC BUTTER:

I have marinated the fillets in Tony's seasoned olive oil for several hours.Add lemon juice while cooking.
That came out great. The cashew-garlic sounds like something I would like!

Melted butter, lemon, Tony's, garlic, and Worcester. Grill on the half shell at 400 degrees til done.

Its fresh redfish. Don't mess with it too much. A little butter, lemon and grill for around 6 minutes a side.
