My son had tympanoplasty surgery Friday.
He's getting a slap brand new .243 from Santa.
How long should I make him wait to shoot it. He goes for post op visit on the 9th of Jan. Ill ask his DR. then.

Definitely wait til after the post op check. Certainly don't want to mess up the repair. And of course wear good muffs. Even after the recovery period.

I agree, if possible, use layers of felt under good muffs. don't rush the eardrums. all should be ok, but don't want to damage hearing.

That's what I was figuring. Thats going to be tough. Earlier today he walked out his room with a football. I asked him where he was going. He said play with the neighbor. Obviously I didn't let him, that little shite is ready to go.
