We saw one that kept coming around our property about 6 years back..guy next door lives in an extremely heavy wooded area and saw it sitting near his old swingset one evening(he had ducks in his little pond dissappearing)

we also would occasionally hear it on late winter nights..it was creepy

I saw 3 this afternoon while headed South on I-55. Then when I got on I-12 I saw 6 more.

maybe you do or don't realize how elusive these frickers are..you could have a game camera and only 1 out of 10 times actually catch it on camera--don't ask me why..when we saw it it was a freezing arse day and he was crossing the road where our woods meet..i thought it was a big arse dog at first but then realized it had a really long tail that had a black splotch at the end..it was a tan gray and pretty muscular

more of a blur seeing it but i know what i saw..it was actually in the newspaper(sun herald) here when we saw it. i'll have to find the article

second only to a squatch imo...

but seriously they are supposed to have huge ranges, they basically just walk their whole life. I guess it's not that crazy to see one passing through, just never happened to me.
