My FIL does and it’s heavy and incredibly picky on ammo.

Also, be aware. It isn’t a Colt. It’s licensed by Colt to Umarex.

Then I guess you don't want to hear that the M&P 15-22 is a better rifle.

Bought one for my kid years ago. Tricked it out a bit and then added a TruGlo sight. Shot it a few times at the range but haven’t shot it in a few years. We were shooting Federal ammo and had no issues.

Would not buy. Friend had one years ago. We shot it one time then decided best to sell it. More like a toy than a real AR.

Why not get a .22 conversion instead?

Mine is stamped Made by Walther but I know the three(or four) manufacturers intermingle manufacturing of Walther and S&W or at least they did at one time.

Why?

In ‘80s lingo, “tricked out” means you modified it with aftermarket parts. Is that not what I did?

I agree...and that's even with the occasional out of battery fire and occasional full auto occurrence that got it banned from Project Appleseed competitions.

We've never experienced either , but it is a known issue...cause unknown.

absolutely. $150 less cost, and you have the option, with a 20 second parts-swap, of firing 223, when roaming the fields. I like that, cause where I hunt rabbits, I sometimes get a 200m shot at a coyote.
