I thought this was about geography, not cars.

Revamp coming out this summer. Wider/taller stance. 2.7 turbo that’s in the Silverado.

Had one it was nice at first.
Then when it got around 49,000 miles the electrical quirks popped up, fuel pump, and engine oil leaks.
I had an extended warranty and got everything fixed.
Then sold it.

Price was good pre Covid compared to a full-size.
Small truck ride was decent.
Good go to home depot truck, tow a small boat, and ride around town
Engine matched the truck well.
Gas mileage was fair.
Reliability once it hit 40,000 miles went down hill.

Sold it and bought a Nissan Frontier and the quality knock on plastic is decent.
Reliability I will know in a few years.

I understand it is not the old Nissan Hardbody 4x4 z24 4cyl which I have one at the camp with 400,000 miles. That little truck I bought as a dealer demo, loaded for that time period, and it been going strong since 1987.

My 2015 has 180K. The V6 has done well, but towing a tractor at a couple hundred over the 7K# limit was dicey.

Some passengers have found the seats uncomfortable for long distances. The engine doesnt sound as awesome as a V8. The 'cigarette' 12v power socket quit working. Other than that it has been a great truck.

(But I accidentally call it a CAR often; maybe I'm not convinced its a real truck like my old Silverado was.)

Those last Nissan frontiers are going to go a long way. Probably the last Nissan that will make it over 200000 miles.

I have a 2016 Colorado Z71 with the SCA Apex upgrade package. 5 inch lift, skids, etc... I have only had one issue with it. The sensor in the gas tank for fumes. I packed gas in it right after Hurricane Sally. Big No No. Do not put gas in the tank after the pump handle clicks. Some California EPA crap.
I love mine. Fairly roomy for a mid size. Drives great. running Nitto Terra Grapplers. I have never pulled anything with it. I was surprised when I bought it because I stepped down from full size. Its a good truck.

The last Nissan model was the last good truck/car they made.

Pathfknder went to crap.
Maxima went to crap.

But they fronteir was unstoppable.

The model change would have me concerned since it’s nNissan

Corner we’re not cut with that last frontier.

I have a 2017 Z71 Colorado I bought new that now has 188k miles. Besides the transmission shudder that was repaired under warranty it runs like a champ. I drive it all over the state.
I’m a big guy too and it is comfortable to drive long distances.

2016 canyon SLT, 87500 miles besides the tranny issues, been a good truck. Have towed 5500# camper, small boat, etc. 1520# payload more than most Tundras.

Tundra payload was 1660 on all but the new Tundras.

The 2022 has a 1940 lbs payload.
