Dam rain screwed up the water around the camp. I tried but no go on the reds. The beer still caught me a buzz

What's the water in pelto looking like? I'm gonna try some night fishing this evening.

Which one did you go with if you don't mind me asking? Professional, standard, or advanced?

Good water in pelto. I'm passing your camp in 15 if you there. The barge by the isle is not there any more so that's one less spot to night fish

I have the phantom 3 advanced. Don't see a need for the pro. I think the standard doesn't fly very far compared to my 1.2 mile capabilities

52 today. Left the biting. They weren't big enough to write home about but it was constant action

Haven't fished the area in quite some time. Haven't checked the lunar tables but history has always proven to me that the August Full Moon usually marks the beginning of the end of Specks on the beaches. Unfortunately, September seems to always be a month of transition for trout and the next concentration you'll find will be inside, chasing the fall run of White Shrimp...

Good luck, there's still plenty of fish to catch out there but, for me, end August and early September seems to always lend itself to catching scattered trout. Conversely, Redfish often pick up the slack...

Fished this evening. The trout are everywhere but they're small. Caught 100. Kept 20.

What happened to Ricky? Is he going to be OK?

Sounded good on the phone, so I hope so.
Todd seems like a nice guy and a hard worker, hope it works out for both of them.

Fished Saturday morning in the marsh around Bay De Mongles and Mangrove Bay and only caught 3 trout and a few drum.
