Closest place to BR for bass and reds?

Not necessarily talking about now but any time during the year. I can not express how bad id love to get a limit on both in one trip

I am going to edit this post. Best time is from October through March. Thanksgiving can't be topped. Limit on trout, reds and catch all the bass you want.

fishing is only good during odd years though.

NW bank of decade there is canal that will take you into some of the prettiest freshwater fishing Ive ever seen.

Not a problem, when it isn't windy you can launch at Falgout. Decade can get pretty rough on a windy day though.

I like to put in at Bob's Bayou Black Marina and run down through Penchant. Fish Minor's and People's.

I've caught both in Lake Salvador. Hell even in Lake Catouatche sometimes. But the other places mentioned are better for that
