Clearing briars and want to kill them. Which herbicide?

These briars are about 20 tall going up hardwoods.
About 200+ stalks that I left knee high so I could poison them.
I was thinking that since there is no foliage I could wrap the top with a paper towel and spray roundup on them to soak it in.
But then I decided
To ask the experts.
Any ideas?
Yesterday I could barely see though them. Cut them down and now able to see the barn.

2 oz roundup and 3 oz of 2-4D per gallon of water. Make sure briars are fresh cut because they absorb through the top where you cut but won’t absorb it through the “skin” of the stalk.
Bleach also works

There is some vine killer I believe called Crossbow. It works takes a few weeks but works. Better to spray on leaves and stems. If already cut won’t work as well.

Tordon. It kills tree stumps and brush but must be applied when freshly cut to permit absorption. Translocates through the stem/trunk and kills the roots. They will not spread through new shoots from the roots. Available premixed at farm & garden stores in squirt bottles as Tordon RTU (ready to use).

Don't spray Tordon around your house if you have a water well

I’d have said the opposite. 3 & 2.
Still probably gonna have to mow them to knock them down.
Don’t use that on a windy day tho cause
You’re gonna kill the hell out of whatever it gets on .

I used to add a little paraquat for quick kills. Hate messing with that crap though.

Buy a goat stake it out after all the trash plants are gone, sell or eat the goat.

Triclopyr mixed with diesel for greenbriar. It doesn't require fresh cuts to work.
