Going to break some clays next week over fall break, Buddy of mine has some property. Any suggestions on throwers?

I've got this little Trius. It works great.

This is what we're rocking. I wish I could afford the electric version with the wobbler kit.

My sons and I throw for each other. Easy to learn and one can become pretty consistent. Flights can be varied as well. :best thing is the hand thrower is $5. I splurged and got a backup. cheers:

I have about 10 of them laying around from times where I have gone out to a friends place and needed one. I've gotten pretty good at throwing doubles by putting a finger in between the two handles to give some separation.

I got a Champion earlier this summer. I shoot alone normally and my other thrower was not cutting it.

and added a remote with an 120 yard range

I have been pleased so far...

Nah. Just up-down-right-left adjustments.

For electric machines, atlas are the best for personal use (but also the most expensive): Atlas

Champion and Do-All traps are next on the list. They are cheaper, but you do get what you pay for.

Hand-cocked and hand throwers are all the same. Fun until you're the one doing the cocking or chunking.

We've got an older version of the champion with the wobbler and oscillating base. I wouldn't get it without them if you plan to use it often. You'll be shattering clays with your eyes closed in a few hours without them, unless you point it directly at yourself. And eventually you will get good enough/drunk enough to do that.
