I'm looking for a speck/red charter fisherman out of Lake Pontchartrain/Lake Catherine in Late March.
Does anyone have a good recommendation for a charter?
Thanks

You won't be disappointed with Eric Dumas of Living A Dream Guide Service. You can youtube him and see some good videos. He can be reached at: 985.705.1244.

Chris Robert is also a good one, IMO.
228.284.9502.

I would send anyone to either of those guys.

Know nothing about him.

O hh you can probably throw Falterman in the mix with Schlumbrecht.

Mike Gallo is another good one.

I would not use Dudley as a guide, but he is still one of the best fishermen you will ever meet.

Why not?
Know a couple folks who have had successful trips with him, just asking.

Is your on again/off again relationship with Dumas on again?

Seriously though, I'm going to call him up for a trip this spring. Thinking about a LSU baseball game and red fishing weekend trip with the 6y old. Is that too young for this type of inshore fishing?

Late march is an odd time for Lake P, especially on the south end. Don't be surprised if the aforementioned guides are fishing the Causeway trolling for specks instead of the south end. Trolling is a blast when you find them. If they don't have them, it's a dumpster fire.

Fork Schlumbrecht. Dude welches on trips and is a burn out stuck in the 80's.

We talked things out like grown men and had an honest misunderstanding. I booked him a few months later and took my dad and his best friend. I would take him again in a heartbeat.

I live 5 minutes from the lake. Let's talk before you book a trip. I've got a better set up in mind than a paid guided trip.

I used to know a guy that would take me fishing instead of me paying for a high priced guide. It was a win/win for both of us. I would pay for his gas and he was a great fisherman that would always put us on fish. He moved and I no longer have that hook up. Are there any guys that do that type of thing on here?
