Who did you use? Or who would you recommend?

I'm thinking of having my Remington 700 action and barrel done. What is a fair price on a quality job?

All help and info is much appreciated, thank you.

Barking Irons does it, I know of. Know idea what he charges. I've only bought parts there, but I've seen some cerakoted guns in the displays over there.

I was planning on getting mine done before duck season but I drug arse and ran out of time. I talked a lot with the guy at Green Dragon. He was super nice and helpful, he will get my business after the season is over.

They shut down retail. They still do Cerakote and gunsmithing last time I called.

I called the listed number and it was out of service. I went by what the listed address was and the building was empty. How can I get in touch with them?

Oops. Maybe they closed down. It has been about 4 or 5 months since I talked to them.

Why would you want to get in touch with them? Regardless of past reputation, this doesnt exactly sound like the type of company you would want to do business with, especially dealing with firearms.

I forgot to mention Vincent Buckles at Khyber Pass Tactical does Cerakote. He does a cool mixed burnt bronze and black finish that looks black normally but in the sun is burnt bronze.

I've been looking at doing this for awhile on my AR. Hunters Run has it priced at $165 for one color. Is that reasonable?

Have you decided on who will do the cerakote for you?

That is decent. I think Vincent will do it cheaper. Give him a call.

I have 2 guns at green dragon right now that should be done in the next week or two.

He was pretty backed up around Christmas but I wasn't in a hurry

I'm planning to post pics. It's a beretta shotgun and a 9mm shield.
