Maybe I just glanced over, thought you said you were from N Va. Probably was someone else, I just couldnt get over that someone would actually want worms in their trees.

Impressive. Moms got three big trees in her yard and many smaller ones. My powpow told me they haven't had worms on them since the thirties

once my grandmas got big years ago they quit putting in worms. Like i said earlier i have 2 separate friends with over 100 trees each. They cut them back every year so they bush out, and they leave 15-20 worms on each tree every time so they can go in the ground and keep comming back every year. He said if a moth didnt find my trees by august he would come and bring me 30-40 of his worms and put on my trees to go in the ground to get started. i guess i lucked up, 2 months in the ground and they are loaded

maybe you need to get some worms to get started. Once they go in the ground your good, soon as the moth comes out she will lay eggs on the leaves, never ending cycle

Da Hell you dont have hogs skeeters and fire ants. I am from there and was fly fishing in off hwy 58 recently and saw hogs and skeeters. Do you mean boars or feral hogs everyone has feral effing hogs.

The answer to the dissappearing catalpa worm problem is all the spraying they did for mosquitos over the last few years.

I live in town and thats what correlated to the dissapearence in our area...
