Did you look at the address in that link??
Posted on 12/30/18 at 8:53 pm to Jenar Boy
So you agree, it’s in Jonesville.

I agree that it’s a jonesville address but it’s in Larto. Larto doesn’t have a post office.

We hunted there from 2003 to 2011 and had some phenomenal hunts. Unfortunately we only had water on opening day twice in 8 years. It just wasn’t worth it when they upped the price on the blinds each of the last 3 years we were there.
I heard they closed the Dewey Wells road entrance and now everyone has to take the Diversion Canal road to get to the property. Ef that noise.

Yep. We leased blinds there from 1988-2010. In the 90’s & early 00’s it was some awesome hunting. Limits of greenheads & sprigs most everyday. They got to greedy.
A close family friend was a straw boss on Delta for about 40 years and my uncle done most of their welding work through the 70’s & 80’s. My cousins & I ran around all over that place as kids. It’s some damn good fishing in there as well.

You will, just likely not for free

Off the main subject, but any of you guys that hunted the lake ever done any arrowhead hunting out there?

Well, they have been ordered to pay. They probably won't even if this stands, which I do not think it will. I guess my point/question is, if it was truly a reverse condemnation, and the payments are for both value and royalties, then the stake holders have been compensated for their loss, and have no continuing claim to that land.
Here's the other problem, with the bank of little river being curved, how does one know who owns what? There was zero discussion of boundaries.

Correct. All the blinds that Honeybrake hunted on Catahoula are now under Full Strap and Stringer. I would hunt with the Soileaus 1,000 times before paying money to hunt with the people at Honeybrake. Better people and a much more honest operation. They also kill a lot of ducks.

Yeah

I went with Full Straps last year, talk about a sketchy operation. Also went with Honey Brake, first class operation. Just my opinion though.

What you mean, Guide is willing to fights with non-clients on the public lake during hunts, what could be sketchy about that

They put in all the work to maintain those blinds for years. Someone shows up trying hunt over your hardwork, what would you do? Like I said. He wasn’t with clients. He was with a group of people we all know.

I have no doubt Honeybrake is a first class operation. I just believe the people at Full Strap are better people based on what I know. To each his own

Baw you can build a blind yourself anywhere you want on Catahoula. Just bring marshmallows to roast the next day.
I bet all the guides out there have diesel and matches in hand every day out
