The pigs, at least ours, is much more like a cat than a dog. It does not do things to make you happy unless you are bribing it with food. In Its opinoin, It is not there to please you...

Oh! That's a picture of your actual pig?
Awesome. Where do you keep it? It's awful big. Do u take it to the vet?

My friend with the goat (goats name is Billy) doesn't have problems with the goat rutting up the yard. Billy keeps it manicured. They don't even feed him goat food anymore. I do worry about my potential goat eating on my camper though
nah, goats won't rut up a yard...they will put an arse whipping on some shrubs, though...
the pig is the one that will frick the yard up...

Well I never claimed to be a goat whisperer. And that damn pig looked about the size of a boar.
I think I want a little wussy goat. Pygmy or Nigerian. "boar goat" sounds like it might get mad one day and come after me.

Yea, she lives inside, has a cage to sleep in and eats outside. 1/2 a cup of pot belly pig food and a carrot, am and pm and whatever she can bribe and steal. She is actually better the the dogs and the kids.

Can you teach it tricks? What kind of stuff? Is it house trained?

I've been around some Boar goats that were mean as hell. Always wanting to head butt you.

Boar is just a normal arse goat. Got my daughter one from my dad...I ate it 3 months later

She is 13, only been to the vet once when she got pneumonia.

She will dance and sit for food, but. It much more unless you are talking about here opening cabinets.

So when u bought her you didn't know she would get huge? And did you have her spayed?
I'm expecting a very small pig. And I'm going to keep it outside most of the time. Well if it's reAl small and cute when I get it I might let it stay inside.

The mini pigs are not considered livestock. They have been classified as domestic pets. Don`t know about the goats. Good luck!

My wife got her form Mobile when we were dating. No pedigree, she is around 120 which is average for a non "mini" pot belly pig. I had no idea how big it would get, but I voted no on the pig from the start. I just lost the argument...

She is. It spayed, and once a year in the summer she will lose all her hair.
