Camping in the Ozarks

Any of you crazy OBers every camped/stayed somewhere in the Ozarks. Thinking about going for spring break, the beach scene is getting a little old.

I have a camp near Huntsville. You gonna do any paddling? The area where we are is 15 minutes to the Mulberry and 45 from Eureka Sprungs.

Mountain Home, Harrison and Marshall area. Bull Shoals Lake, Buffalo and White Rivers.
My favorite place to camp in Arkansas is Shady Lake in the Ouachita Mountains. Huge camping sites and a more primitive feel. Petit Jean would be another good spot.

I like it back in the Ouachita's between Albert Pike and Bard Springs on the creeks in between the mountains. Also canoeing the little Mo down to Greeson.
Ozarks like at Buffalo are amazing as well. But further.

Hiked and tent camped near Albert Pike on the eagle rock loop. Cabin camped on Mt nebo and mt petijean near Russelville. All amazing. At mt petijean, you can hike to the waterfall. I have more but don't want to hog thread!
