Anyone ever launch out of Burns Point before? Just wondering if there was a fee or gate or anything. I called the number and it went straight to voicemail.

i might be wrong but i think that is one of those launches you have to get a sticker from the parish to use

Been one time years ago and other than a snake running wife out of the outhouse it was nice. No launch fee at that time but it’s almost at the end of the world.

There is a mailbox near the entrance (below what looks like a raised mobile home) where you're supposed to pay $1 for entry into the park. Launching the boat is free and the launch itself is in good condition.

So no gate or anything? Google streetview (from 2008) shows a yellow gate just want to make sure I dont show up and its locked or something
