Could you or someone please post a Material list of what you use to build the box itself for a 4x4, 4x6 or 6x6?

Not the EZ brackets and cross bracing.

TIA

I second that. We have some old shooting boxes/houses on our property that need to come down.

I have tons of school work until the last week of February so the stand is on pause.

The only tricky part of those brackets is stabbing the legs in. Tractor with front end loader makes it easy but otherwise it's a bit of a spook ride. I've done many of them with those things and so far only dropped one

That is what I thought when I used them. Now I build them with 4x4's bolted to a 2x8 floor joists. The stand floors are 12' off the ground, 4x6 size. The legs are straight and do not flare out like the elevator brackets do.

To attach them to the ground I drive two T posts at each of the 4 legs. I drive them as far down as my driver will go (when driver hits the ground). I then wrap welded chain around the 4x4 and both T posts and use a bolt to tighten the chain. Make sure when you are driving the T post in that the bumps are on the outside so the chain will not slide off.

We have 11 of those stands (and 1 with the elevator brackets) and have never had one blow over. We did have a tree fall on one and destroy it but that would have happened to the elevators as well.

For my windows I get solid PVC 1x2's and route out two grooves for 1/4" glass to go in. The front window on my house is 64" wide and I use 2 pieces of glass that are 32.5" wide so there is a little overlap. If you will rub some gulf wax on the bottom edge of the glass it will slide easily and quietly.

90% of my hunting as a teen through early 20s I did this and used spurs.

Too old for that shite after several battles with cancer and knee injuries on top of that.

Not entirely sure. I know I don't want to do it too long. Eventually want to get into hospital management. That's partly why I chose accounting as a major.
