I've never heard of a 62 gr Gold Dot .... only the 55s and 75 grains in my recollection.

75's would be even better. Let me know if you see them as well. I doubt you will though as they are too badass to be on the market

Vote for the revolver in either 357/38 or 44mag/44spec.

I would never own a KelTec SUB2000™ GEN3 in general.

However, for a End of Society bug out bag this KelTec 9MM and a Ruger Mark 3 or 4 style .22 pistol would serve a man well. At some point in the disaster you will run across additional 9mm ammo, either scavenged or kill for it.

Considering adding a SUB2000 now

Keltec P-2000. Folds up small, can be used for defense, hunting, and 9mm is probably easiest ammo to acquire

I think I’d buy a S&W before I’d get a sub2000. Much nicer trigger.

o answer your specific question, Glock 19 as 9mm and 17/19 mags are ubiquitous AND, throw this in the bag and your 19 becomes a solid mid range (50 yards) weapon. Drop in platform with brace

I tried one of those recently- the trigger pull was atrocious

If it’s a true bug it bag then I suggest a g-19 or some other med size 9mm handgun. Some people are suggesting calibers that are not as readily available as 9mm. Personally In a big out situation I want a gun that gives me a better chance at securing ammo…..def not a 10mm or 300 blkout lol. Jmho

Henry rifle and your pick of a 22 pistol. Can easily bring 1000 rounds of ammo without weighing you down that much. Self defense and shooting food would be covered.

If you have a bug out bag, where are you going? A 9mm isn't very useful in the open country, walking down the road, etc.
If I'm home - I'm staying put. If I am away from home my bag is put together so that I can get home and or get to my loved ones to get them home.

41 mag lever on shoulder.

Dagger. It’s now proven to work. Hopefully it sits in your bag forever at 300 dollars vs 500.

Also.
If you want a 16” barreled 5.56 in a bag;
This keltec su16c makes too much sense.

Ignore the tripod. I cannot help that they put it on. But you can ignore it and never use it.

Also the su16 “regular” folds even shorter bit doesn’t look as easy. You have tk keep a detent pin to keep it shut.

Have a PSA dagger in mine. Stays in a bag with a few other essential items. Spare mag, 50 rounds, Life straw, knife, compass, fire starter and an mre

ETA: it’s more of a get me home bag in case I find myself stranded and making my way back on foot. As it would likely take me over a day to reach home from my normal commute if I had to hoof it.

Sounds congruent with mine. Keep a pair of tennis shoes in mine because the leather dress shoes would hurt after a while.
