I heard one of the most corrupt/shite move by a game warden today. Ole baw and his buddy were driving down the road and saw a deer on the side of the road. They thought it looked funny so they turned around to go look. When they circled around they put their headlights on the deer to see and saw it was fake and were very confused. Turns out it was a game warden and they got ticketed for night hunting because they had a gun in a case in their back seat. That is some bs if I have ever heard it

Bet they won’t turn around at night with a gun in the backseat to “look” at a deer again

I worked the decoy, and live decoys many times in the 90’s. We had some funny stops, people beating on hood, yelling at it, many turn-arounds, but no one shot it. We did not even check these peeps

sounds crappy yes, but the law says shine a light on a deer when you have a gun, even a 22 pistol, and its considered hunting at night

Read a story one time where game wardens had this big buck set up in the curve of a road and this lady stops and is talking on her cell phone for several minutes and gets out and shoots at the deer. They arrest her and she tells them that her husband has been seeing this big deer by their house so she thinks this is it and calls him. He tells her to shoot it from the road because the one he has seen is a real trophy. I would like to have heard the conversation as he bailed her out of jail.

I heard this from buddy the other day. He is fishing in Louisiana and catching redfish, boat next to him is too. They catch one measure it and it is 27 inches just under the 28 inch slot. They give it to him, he has room for one more under the slot and they didn’t, a few minutes as they are leaving two young green jeans come flying up on him. They check his license etc and want to see he fish. They immediately take all the fish out if his boat throw them in their boat and declare he has a problem and 5 fish over 28 including the one 27 inch fish. He tells them the fish was measured twice by two different people and clearly 27 inches, they claim they have official measuring stick and its 28. He asked to see them measure it, they refused. They seized the fish, and all his rods and reels etc. He eventually got the criminal offense dismissed and thought he was ok, but then got hit with 500 civil penalty. Only in Louisiana

Well that’s a dumb rule. So if a bird watcher has a pistol on him and is watching endangered birds does he get charged with hunting an endangered animal?

You must not be around many bird watchers because they aren’t the type to carry a gun usually lol.

It maybe a dumb rule but that’s like being in a boat with a fishing rod and trying to say you aren’t fishing.

When I was 17 many moons ago I was hunting out on a military wma and had one pull up behind me. Course back then I had long hair and the sob treated me like a common criminal. Complete search of me including my truck. Didn't find anything wrong but as a kid it left me with a bad taste in my mouth concerning any kinda law enforcement that's still there today.

Myself and a podnuh were waiting in a parking area on a north LA WMA. There was enough moon to see a little. One of our group had been hunting deep in the woods and was taking a while to get out. We heard footsteps on gravel and could see the silhouette of somebody approaching. My podnuh loudly said "look how goofy this mother effer walks" thinking it was our guy. It was the game warden walking up to check us. He had a pretty good sense of humor about it.

Craziest one I ever heard was a guy was checking his game cameras and had some pictures of an ol’ baw and his lady on some of the cards.

Turns out the ol’ baw was trespassing and taking his cards but replaced with the wrong one.

The ol’ baw was a green jeans.

As far as I’m aware nothing ever happened to the ol’ baw/ green jeans.
