I am pretty sure they are dogs. You have really made no valid point regarding genetics or testing. Except ignoring the obvious, that dogs have been bred with spectacular specificity for thousands of years, bettering the breed and accomplishing a purpose. Without a DNA lab is sight.

I will summarize. If a dog has exceptional nose, drive, demeanor, size traits I like. I will take a chance his puppies wont be a functional retards in need of mobility devices. I will be right about 99% of the time. Once again, your position is only applicable in some crazy breeder world
