fify. And now I agree with you.

Dog eat dog world we live in, I couldn't fish so frick it.
If you don't take advantage, you will get taken advantage of.
No BBQ'd reds for a year. That's all the justification I need.

We couldn't even launch our boat. Green jeans would have been all over us if we could have found a way to even try and fish.

Well frick it. My first semester in college I barely bumped into probably an illegal Vietnamese on I-10 in Metairie.

My bumper had a ding, her car didn't have a scratch. They sued and got 27k. I'll consider this as my payback for those floppers you speak of.

yeah...that sucks

and I'm sure I would have been pissed too

but in no way would I feel comfortable or proud about collecting money because I couldn't fish for a few months

I remember being down in Grand Isle on Elmers Island when the guard was there closing a bunch inlets into ponds and the bays.

The little streams that were left were flowing with more trout than ever. Caught big trout on every cast.

Therefore I'd like to thank BP.

I don't think I really need to classify this type of argument for you. You really should be able to hide your guilt more effectively.

Just remember you're re-classifying yourself as one of them. If you have zero pride or sense of morality go with it. Don't get pissy when I call you a piece of shite leach either.

My boat was rigged up ready to trawl that year, bought my 25' rec license, and had to stay parked in the driveway. I go every weekend to shrimp, crab, and fish. I'm sure a lot of people making the claim don't go fish but once a year. I don't think any less of them because they bought a license and making the claim.

Get a copy of Judge Barbier's liability decision against BP. If you want proven facts as to BP's gross negligence and the underlying reasons for its actions, you'll find the information there.

that's fine

but next time you get the urge to bitch about free loaders on the news, walk out and look at those new power poles and remember where they came from

Totally up to you man. That doesn't make Downshift's opinion any less valid.

I was hoping you maintained the information since you are so sure of your judgment.
