Looks their location is up for lease and Google has they temporarily closed.
Anyone know the scoop?
Never understood location, one way in & out at a congested area of hwy 14.
Really hope they just find a better location and stay in town.

No scoop on why they closed, but I know Lake Charles Tackle is happy about it.

How the fishing in the Lake been? This about the time of year I normally start hitting the lake pretty hard, but we’re expecting our first kid any day now, so this summer I’ll just have to live vicariously through you

It was a terrible location.

Last time I was in there, most of their selection was dwindling down. Not sure they needed such a big store in LC.

Tons of 16”-17.5” reds being caught.

I tried to go there a couple weeks ago, and they had a sign on the door saying they were temporarily closed due to electricity issues. This was around 10am on a Saturday. I don't think that is related to them shutting down, but I guess I could be wrong. Ohh well, LCT/Gun Cave is better anyway.

That location and its proximity to “our greatest strength” isn’t good for business.

Terrible location but I guess they figured people would overlook the difficulty to get there. BR location is way better.
