50' sailboat, lift it out, scrape all the shite off of it, sand it and prime it, bottom paint it. How much?

Every sailing YouTube channel I’ve see, they’ve done this themselves and it takes them forever. I would assume a boatyard is going to stick it to you.

I had just under 2 grand in my last haul out. 55' Hatteras. Materials and haul out only. Did all my own labor. The haul out, yard fees and anodes was about $1400 of this. The rest was paint and misc. supplies. I would think about $3,500 or so if you had to pay someone for everything.

Ron wins. Total was 4583 but minus sales tax and "environmental fees " he was almost spot on.

That should have taken 5-7 gallons of bottom paint and at 125-200 a gallon that price doesn’t add up. Or they lost their arse

For a 50' sailboat does not sound bad at all. I was going to guess $100/ft, plus extra if there are blisters that needed to be addressed.
