You mean the locker on the sides?
Nope.
Where the step is to go to the deck. I assume it's a fish box. Has a drain... If it isn't a fish box, it's all it's used as.

A friend has a panga and I've fished in it and i don't think it's bad at all. I thought it was pretty nice and handled the chop of lake pontchartrain well.
You will not win any speed contests with it, but it's a little different boat than what I think most people are used too.

The 2400 tickled my fancy. Looked at another one today in BR. Have a serious want.
I've been attached to the idea of 24ft, 23 at minimum, but might start considering 22.
Anyone have an opinion on the new epic 22sc? Also have a 25ft model coming out.
From all ive read is that they are buying market share, so their lower price wont last forever.

I've learned more that sometimes its called storage, but if it has a drain can be used as fish box. So as long as there is a big box with a drain then i should be good.

Well it looks like you are doing your homework.
I know that they were tired of seeing me kicking tires at the dealership and figured I would never actually buy one.
I also purchased mine in BR. I think the prices have gone up a bit on the Bluewaves over the last couple years though. I do like the new higher consoles that they came out with after I bought mine.
Let me know if you have any questions on the Bluewave and I can give you honest realworld feedback.

Is it truly worth the current price, or is there a model boat you'd consider at a lesser price point?
Im having a hard time shelling out 70k for a boat, im closer to 50k, with 5-8k of wiggle room.

Well I was at a completely different price point. The 24 footers are really nice in just about any brand now a days and they are all going to be pretty good rides.. I am not sure how many people actually need a full size 24 footer as opposed to how many buy one just because that's what they want.
I did a LOT of homework. I wanted a certain size boat but I didn't want a great big motor. I did not want to underpower the boat either. I have mine rigged with a 150 which saved me a lot of coin. The boat performs pretty damn good with the motor but like I said I did a lot of homework on that before I pulled the trigger.
I just fished an entire week in Grand Isle taking my boat out every day and I burned less than half of a 60 gallon tank for the whole week. I cruise between 30-38 mph and haved touched 50 with a light load.
As far as other brands. I came up with 5 brands that for me had the best value for quality boats without paying too much for the name on the side of the boat which were as follows: Blue Wave, Nautic Star, Frontier, Blazer Bay, and Sea Hunt.
I narrowed it down further to Nautic Star and Blue Wave before pulling the trigger.
ETA: EPIC was not an option a few years ago when I was in the market.

this is what i'm struggling with. we use a 24 now and i like the space. we very often fish 3-5 people, so space is necessary.
but from what i've read is there are some 22s that can fish just like a 24 (black jack, key west 23, EPIC 22).
maybe a 22 would work for us, might even be better for us. it would definitely be cheaper!

A lot of charter captains in the area are running that exact boat. They are beautiful.
Wish we would've gotten a colored hull on our 2200.

anyone know what i am missing with this one? besides the fact that its all the way in SC.
seems very underpriced for a 24 with all those features.

That's a good price. But once you factor in the costs of getting it transported back here then registered for LA the deal isn't quite as sweet.
I have routinely seen lightly used 24 footers for sale in the sportsman in the 50's. Some with 300's.

From what I hear , the 25' Epic with a Yamaha F250 sells right in that price range with a T Top.
