Need to test a recently repaired boat and was looking for a decent ramp that’s a short drive from the LSU area, thanks

The launch under the LA-1 intracoastal overpass. It’s about 10 minutes from tiger stadium, depending on traffic.

Just be quick the bridge may fall on you at any moment. I kid I kid

Failed to mention the last time it ran it was in the intracoastal and the engine blew . The WBR flotilla had to haul us in and recommended not testing running a boat there as you may be stuck for hours without seeing another boat.

Well morley is probably another 10 minutes away if you head south into Brusly. Same body of water.

Launch it in the River using the long arse ramp under the bridge right downtown. That’s the closest ramp and it’s paved.

Launch it in the River

Probably not the best place to go test a newly repaired boat

I always test on the amite diversion

Guaranteed that someone is out there if you break down

Zero barge traffic

St James Boat Club on Airline near Gramercy. Usually lot of boats around there and good launch with good parking.

Ramah ramp under I-10 if you travel West, or Fred's in Port Vincent if you travel East

I usually go to Fred’s for this stuff. Quiet and the road is right there if you breakdown down River lol
