Jeff and Mary are far and away the best. Always caught bigger fish with Mary, but she's, shall we say, wound up a little tight, while Jeff is way more laid back. He always made my clients and I feel so comfortable, and he honestly doesn't care if he catches a single fish, as long as his customers are. One of the best I've ever fished with.
Never had a bad trip with them, and I mean that in a good way, not the food board way.

I will say that twice with Jeff, he caught fish as fast as he could. Wasn't a real problem, as we were all catching fish, but i was a little surprised at his enthusiasm for catching.

Oh, and to avoid being Treble-hooked...

Would go again and pay.

Highly recommend.

Can't go wrong with the Poes.

They've been doing it a long time and that says something right there. They run a good operation.

I really need to go with a guide out there just so I can learn that lake.

On one trip, one of their guides ran out of gas(wit others in our group) AND was giving out spots on the wrong channel. I was with Mary. I was trying to find a place on the boat as far away from her as I could. I've never seen a woman that pissed off.

After my ordeal, I'll be glad to go with you. Either with a guide or we can take you boat. I know the lake fairly well.

October is like taking candy from a baby over there.

Well, technically you would be trailing me, with Josey standing on the bow screaming which way to go.

What's the best way to mark spots when fishing with a guide?

iPhone app?

I won't mark spots, but I will act like I'm solely a bass fisherman and get them talking. They will open up to you on exactly what they are doing and why. Then just make mental notes.
