Looking for a comfortable quality pair of hunting pants. Any suggestions?

I already have a pair. I hunt out of a pirogue but usually stay in it and wear normal pants with boots.

I don't think I have ever gone duck hunting where I didn't have to put a pair of waders on haha

Drake makes a pair of 6 pocket waterproof pants. They also make a waterproof pair of "over-pants". Stick with the 6 pockets. They are awesome

To the OP, Gortex. 100% waterproof and breathable.

I'm looking at a pair of drake wader pants for Christmas to wear under hip boots. I'm interested in this thread.

It's just for splashes and stuff. I just need something that doesn't soak up water and is insulated.
If I go over the hip boots it doesn't matter, I'm getting soaked
if I start having that problem I'll just get waders

Sitting in a climber with hip boots in the swamp, sitting on a log or the ground in the swamp, standing in a pond, sitting in a boat blind, and whatever duck hunting situations I get invited into

Depends. Keeps your bottom dry

Gortex bibs, but if I'm going and it's raining I'm putting on my neoprene waders.

Only time I've duck hunted without waders is from a boat in a lake. That being said I have a pair of Columbia bibs that are the tits.
