Do people actually finance for 20-30 years on these things? I mean, some cost the same as a brand new truck. I'd like a new bass boat, but can't see paying $300+ for the next 30 years.

i was at bass pro last week browsing at the boats and the terms on the price tags was for 144 months.

I used Dow last year when I bought my boat. Refinanced my truck at the same time and got 3.5% on both

This doesn't contribute to the thread, but I can't see myself ever financing a boat

Good luck trying to sell that thing 5 years down the road. All those "take over my payments" ads just make me crack up. I'm not paying $12,000 for your $4,000 bass tracker that sat in the yard for a few years.

Get quotes from a credit union. I got my RV financed at 6 years for ~2.75%. I put down a good bit up front though.
