Morning all! I’m out in Lafayette I haven’t been down to rockefeller in almost 10 years but I’m looking to go catch some crabs. First off what kinda license do I need if any and also anyone got a good place to go that’s roadside? Not trying to have some coonass run me off from “their spot” any info helps! Have a good week gentlemen!

And to think a couple of years ago this was like $5 for hand lines IIRC, same as a cane pole for fishing

If you are coming from Lafayette you on the right track heading for rockefeller. Just pick a spot. Not sure if its the same as west side of Big Lake but lots of roadside has no crabbing and no parking signs. But in the refuge there is plenty of places to crab from over there.
Good luck!
