Blue Ridge Georgia

I'm not real familiar with Bass Fishing in Montana? But the Trout fishing is badass.

From your link

Although the word mountain is in its name, Driskill Mountain is actually a tall hill. Its elevation is well below the level considered to be a mountain.[4]

of course this is going to come off as biased, but i always loved where i grew (Bluefield Va), beautiful mountains, huge whitetail/gobblers and four seasons country.

i know i have posted this pic on here before, but people always seem to enjoy it when i do..

fog rolling over the top of east river mountain

ideally i think you go a little bit farther east in between bluefield and blacksburg (where VT is), you get some unbelievable large mouth/trout fishing on the New River (second oldest river in the world), i'm lucky because my dad has a private pond at his place and it has made me spoiled over the past 6-7 years

i also like the fact it is so much cooler/less humid it is where i live as opposed to even thirty/forty miles south of us..

of course job wise almost everybody works for coal, it always has been and always will be the lifeblood of the area

all i know is that today was beautiful, after i got done at work tonight and get done what i have to do tomorrow I'm heading to the New River to toss the fly liine around a lil but and then head to Roanoke to goggle over Elizabeth Cook

I like it better than Oregon. It doesn't have the coast, which is a minus but has some spectacular mountain areas. Stanley Idaho is one of my favorite towns anywhere, but has become more like a Colorado mountain town with ex Californians than the other towns I mentioned. Kind of reminds me of Jackson, WY

This! I would take the bigger whitetails over the smaller bass. But there are big smallmouth to catch. You're still not too far away from ArkLaTex to be able to catch big bass.

My family and I are currently in Amarillo on our way home to NW LA. from Pagosa Springs, CO. I really hated to leave, the place has great fishing and we saw plenty of big game and mountains. It's close to durango too, downtown is awesome.

My wife's family has land in Ks but I can't convince her to move there. She said its to boring, flat and they have to many tornados.
