I got the Foodsaver at Costco for about $200. So far, so good.

I have the Gamesaver by Foodsaver. The Gamesaver version can do 40 to 60 consecutive seals before going into a cool down mode. The regular foodsavers can do 5 to 10.

I think the beefier gamesavers can do more seals. this one says it can do 40.

You know it's legit because it has a mossy oak camo pattern available in case you need to seal a meal while you are hunting.

While the chamber vacs are considerably more expensive, the ease of use makes them worth it. I have this model and have packed hundreds of pounds of deer and fish with it. The down side to it is it's weight and size.

I have a food saver game saver and I can't wait for it to die. I should have bought better when I picked it up. It does the job, but slowly and lots of time waiting for it to cool down. Buddy has a Cabela's commercial grade sealer. It's much nicer.

The best thing about the chamber vacs is that you can seal liquids.

Stock
Soup
Food with marinade
Souls vide

Chamber vac is by far the way to go. That being said vacmaster vp215 or 210 model.

I bought a Weston Pro2300 last year after using a food saver for a couple of decades. Do yourself a favor and spend the money up front for a chamber style like the Weston in the long run its the only choice to make. It is so much faster and easier to use, there's no pushing down to create the seal on the pad like a food saver so while one pack is sealing I'm bagging up the next pack so it goes nonstop and never gets hot and stops like the food saver did. I watched Amazon for a while and caught mine for $325 when retail is $399

We have found the zip lock brand to be better than the food saver when it comes to the economy brands. I have had the better grade food saver and cabelas one as well and to me the cheap zip lock brand works better. Nothing compares to a true commercial one though

Not sure if you understood. Im not talking about ziplock bags. Ziplock makes a vacuum sealer that uses the same type bags as food saver where you cut them to size and heat seal. No water used.

I think the weston pro advantage is a good value, it can be had with a camouflage case as well for stealthy sealing.

im about to buy a weston 2300, couldnt spring for the money or the size of the chamber sealers. i think the 2300 is as good as it gets for the non chamber sealers and replacement parts are readily available if anything goes wrong. I have had bad luck with foodsavers even though i know people who have had the same one for like ten years.

I wasn’t answering you specifically and was speaking of old school ziplock bags and water to freeze fish and shrimp. I’m liking the Weston cause I’m not doing a grand worth
