Best dog I've ever had is my lab. She stays inside and was housebroken very easy. It's just a plus that she retrieves for me too.

House partner

Duck Dog

And hunting buddy

Labs are awesome.

I love mine. Got her from a real nice guy in lake Charles. She just turned a year old this month. She normally makes every step I make.

Yep.

It's oddly hard to find good working dogs in LA

The lack of upland game in the state, really reduces the choices...

Damn, I was in class when they did the sporting group. I still can't make up my mind between the Draht and Griff. Odds of getting a good Draht are pretty damn high, but I think a Griff would be better for me since they work closer. Griffs are damn near impossible to find though

I have never had a problem with my shorthairs and them working close or not. They adjust to the terrain and check in regularly. I run beeper collars on silent and the collars only beep when they go on point. I love being able to walk the woods in silence...

My dad used the same collars, nothing better than hearing it start beeping

Gotta explore the chesapeake bay retriever. Some people don't like them and I can see why but will probably never own a lab after owning a chesapeake.

FML, all this time I've been looking for another bitch, didn't know it should've been the two legged kind.

FTR I hope I didn't blow my good dog wad so early in life.
