There is decent country out there. You just have to search places other than radio. Nothing beats the greats though Willie and Waylon and David Allen Coe.

go rafting down the Ocoee River in southeast Tn. One of the best trips around. You can stay in Gatlinburg, and rafting the Ocoee is only like two hours away. There are cabins near the Ocoee, but not that many bars. There are plenty of outdoor activities near the ocoee as well
