I have the NRG 285/75-17s on my jeep and love them. Great tires and much truer to size than the BFGs who are notorious for being smaller than advertised if that matters at all.

Had grapplers on my old dmax but switched to cooper discoverer at3 xlt on my 2500 vortec. The coopers are a much better tire, they Ride better and the side wall seems much more stable.

Looking at ATs also. What about white lettering? I’ve never had OWL, but have always kind of wanted.

Maxxis Bravo Series AT-771. I've ran Goodyear Wranglers, Cooper Discovery AT3, and Maxxis Bravo AT 771. All great tires but Maxxis is better on your wallet. 50k mile warranty in non-LT tires.

Cooper Discoverer AT

I have these and they have done well for 60,000 miles. I’m finally seeing wear around the edges and will be getting a new set soon. Pretty cheap from Discount Tire and are $60 cheaper than the AT3s. One poster mentioned getting 90,000 miles on his AT3s.

Considering the AT3 (AT3S most likely) for our F-150. Gets good reviews both on tirerack and Consumer Reports.

Bumping this to see if anyone has owned trail grapplers and toyo m/ts. Traded the truck in for a 20 f150 from an 18 and it came with some cheap rugged terrains that supposedly are 32.8x11.52 and I can barely fit my middle finger between the tire and the UCA.

This strikes me as odd as I know tons of people who have stock wheels and a level (all fords from 15-20 are the same +44 offset excluding raptors, and 8.5" wide I think), and cram 12.5's on them and aren't near the UCA. Which I am not trying to put 12.5" wide tires on it but I'm so confused on how there is no space with just an 11.5.

I was looking at the spec sheets and looking at metric sizes to keep the weight down but did they UCA change on the 2020 f150s or something?

ETA: the current tires that came on it are like Kendra Klevars or something and they're beat to shite and gashed pretty bad so buying new tires, while not in my original plan to do this quickly, is gonna have to get done sooner rather than later.

Cooper Rugged Treks will compare to the ridge grapplers. Absolutely no complaints after a year. They are more of a hybrid than the Cooper At3's. Basically a tighter patterned MT. These have about 22K on them so far.

I'll check those out. I appreciate it. Tires went up it seems when I bought my last tires a year ago on the truck I traded in they were a good bit cheaper than they are now. I guess the new normal is everything is going to cost more.

Kelly TSR. It is a 60-70k mile tire on a 1/2 ton of you rotate.

The day after Ida last year I got my Silverado 2500 stuck. It came with the shitty wranglers. I went to the tire shop to get new tires a few days later. My local guy had a hard time finding anything in stock because of pandemic.I wanted Yoko geolander Xt’s. He sold me on A set of Kanati Trail hogs. Set for $1300 installed. They are almost 35”. Ride good, pretty aggressive and worn pretty good so far (15K). I probably going to get their MT next. 4wheel parts just started carrying. They are made in South Korea. They get pretty good reviews on YT.
