best 9mm subcompact semi-auto

for concealed carry. Price is not a factor. I want something that will outlast me and future generations. Durability and a good trigger are my primary concerns. Leaning towards the CZ Rami 91750 because it has an aluminum frame instead of polymer. Any others to consider, that aren't a Glock?

Glock 26 or MP shield.
If you want strictly for CC I would go shield its much thinner

ETA: It is a polymer, but one of the best subcompact 9mm pistols on the market as far as I'm concerned.

Kahr is what you want. American made and a pistol that will last generations. The Pm9 is polymer but if you want a metal frame look at the Kahr MK9. (MK and MK Elite is the higher end models not PM) It's heavier than PM model but super easy to conceal. I've got a wallet holster and it goes with me everywhere. I don't know why you'd want a better trigger. My Kahr has a butter smooth double action trigger. Best stock DA I've ever had the pleasure of pulling. I've got over 2500 rounds through mine and it has ate and spit out everything I've fed it.

Took my class with my new Glock 43. I really like it. It's definitely taking some getting use to, since I've never owned a pistol this small. But it shoots great and I'm comfortable with it.

Congratulations ahead of time on getting a new gun.
I'd suggest defining a little more what type of features you desire in your new cc gun. What you've got so far is: Non-Glock; durable; good trigger; and price is not a factor. What about the gun itself? What kind of trigger do you want: striker, DAO, SAO or DA/SA? Do you want external safeties or not? What caliber? Double stack or single stack mag?
My personl recommendations for most people would be: DOA or possibly Striker, no external safeties, single stack mag and 9mm. I don't worry about polymer vs aluminum as long as it's a quality gun. Some of the specific models that come to mind for my preferences include: Kahr CW9/PM9/CM9 series; Ruger LC9 series (DOA or striker), S&W Shield; Springfield XDS, Walther PPS, Beretta Nano and Sig. Keep us updated w/ your choice and your review of it.

I have a Walther PPS in 9mm. I love it. Extremely accurate for its size. The mag release takes some getting used to, but it's not problem now. I actually like it because eliminates the possibility you may accidentally push the mag release while carrying.

I own a Rami, but it's heavy for it's size. I also like the H&K P2000 SK.

Was at Cabelas checking a lot of these models out the other day. I have a kahr pm9 but was just browsing 
I wish h&k made a concealed carry model like the glock or s&w shield, would buy a couple of them. Regarding the shield, that is a very nice piece for the money. $100 less than the glock. Never handled one before but felt really good and fit in my hand fine. Could conceal it in iwb under my T-shirt and shorts with no problems and couldnt see any signs of it. Seriously thinking of buying one.

Check out the Ruger LC9s. Fantastic trigger.
