That was my exact point. A term which I did not write out above used daily by the AP as politically correct was deemed racist and I was banned for 4 months for it.

wow, either the normal Muslims are going to start policing their crazy brethren, or the whole lot is going to get booted out of the country. People are not going to tolerate this for very long. In the US these guys would have been capped pretty quickly, by CC bystanders or cops. I'm guessing they hit the soldier with the car first?

Sorry, but no on both accounts.
Not sure what you mean by "normal" muslims, but I'm guessing you mean moderates? Anyways, they've had many chances to police their extreme counterparts but it's futile.
The fact is the Quran simply states that all "nonbelievers" either "convert or die by the sword." Not really any grey area with that verse. While there's plenty of "normal" Muslims, they aren't true followers. They don't want to negotiate, just to establish a global caliphate.
I highly recommend everyone read the Quran, and learn about Shariah Law. If more people did then we'd have a much better understanding of Islam.

Radicalism isn't limited to Islam, how quickly we forget the Crusades and the Spanish Inquisition or the Salem Witch Trials. The history Christianity is certainly no less gentile than Islam.
Ecclesiastes endorsed "spare your child not the rod, as they will not die" which can easily be interpreted as a Biblical call for child abuse. Fortunately history has shown children do in fact die to abuse and society condemns such behavior vehemently. The point being, these age old texts can be interpreted in any number of ways.
Eric Robert Rudolph aka the Olympic Park Bomber signed his letters as "the Army of God" and was guided by his Christian views. My concern is not Islam, but rather any form of religious radicalism that endorses violence. As I'm not willing to condemn all Christains based on our sordid history so too I'm not willing to write off all Muslims.

I see the point you're trying to make, and it's pretty absurd.....extremely absurd. You point out one Christian terrorist attack in '96, while that same attack is carried out thousands of times every year by Muslims. Yes, hundreds of times a year in America Methodist and Presbyterians are blowing each other up in sectarian violence like the Shia's and Sunni's are in the Middle East.
Where in any other religious book does it promise you 60 virgins at the gate of heaven if you blow yourself and others in the name of "Allah"? Hopefully soon people will realize that it's not "Radical Islam", it's just Islam...
This post is another example of people that just don't get it. Again, I encourage everyone to everyone to read the Quran, and learn about Muhammad and his adventures. There's one goal, to establish worldwide caliphate. Hell it's not like they keep it a secret, listen to this guys interview.
Fyi, I'm not necessarily a Christian, my faith has been up in the air for a while now.
