I just have a battery vest and wonder how I survived all of those years without it. Mine is a Ororo.

My dad has one and hes always fooling around with it. He's into gadgets like that so I usually just ignore his "next great thing".

I'm sure in the deer stand it's a life saver.

Any brands you recommend? Something off Amazon or a brand name?

I have an ORORO and it works well. However, it does have a rather annoying placement of the on/off button with three levels of heat and different indicator colors that kind of shines in the eyes and is notable in the dark. I am not a hunter, but it would be something to be aware of on any jacket I guess. A friend has a Milwaukee brand and likes it but I have no idea if there is an indicator light. The light is my only complaint.

Milwaukee has been having them a while. Thought of getting vest or something for hunting. Already have the batteries.

Have a Milwaukee jacket that works well. Battery is a bit big for it and can be uncomfortable if sitting.

Use a Pnuma heated core vest for hunting and love it. Pnuma Feels like a heated blanket wrapped around me.

My brother has the Milwaukee and got it because he has all Milwaukee tools. He loves it and said when it was below freezing out working in west texas he would wear it over a shirt and it would keep him warm enough to not have to put on a jacket.

The first one I ever saw a pipefitter GF working for me wore one (Milwaukee I think) all winter...its all he ever wore. I had no idea what or how he stood the weather until I asked.
