Cut a bushel up and toss on the ground, green jeans won't like it but the deer will eat it faster so the fungus won't hurt em.

It has NOTHING to do with the deer.

Only the spread of the sweet potato blight across the state.

I'm not sure how the OP missed it on the LDWF website.

The deer will eat them as fast as u can put them out, so I've heard. :

I've never tried them. My dad said they tried them years ago, before the ban. Said the deer wouldn't eat them. Probably like feeding them rice bran or out of a trough, you have to get them used to it before they will eat it regularly.

This is what happened to me. I put a bunch of them out in my back yard with a few piles of corn and rice bran. They walked right through the potatoes to get to the rice bran and corn.

They wouldn't touch em until I started putting a little brown sugar and cinnamon on em. Deer sure do love cinnamon.
