Been seeing a big family of hogs on camera and want to go mow em down this weekend. About 10 piglets plus a sow and a boar it looks like.

So I'd like to cook/smoke the piglets whole. Any tips for cleaning the little ones? Advice on how to cook? I have a vertical smoker I could hang them in, but if it gets too tender may all just fall off the bone... could probably fit on my horizontal offset smoker, so that may be the best bet.

The little ones skin out super easy. I smoked a 10 pounder whole with pecan wood and it was delicious.

Nice

What's the best way to freeze them? Wrap in butcher paper etc?

Could you build some kind of cage out of chicken wire or hogwire fencing to hold it all together in the smoker?

I would assume any method would work. We vacuum seal.

Get a pot of boiling water and put burlap over the piglets. Take a cup and pour over the piglets and scrape off hair. Singe off any excess hair. That is how I prep all my hogs because I like the skin on. Tastes so much better.

My wife and daughters would shite if they heard this but, if you kill the sow and stay still, the piglets will continue to come back to the sow making it easier to kill all the piglets.

They're super easy to clean.

Knive, tin can, you can actually pluck it off too. Just pour over cup by cup and let it sit for a couple of minutes and get the hair off.

Shoot the sow first and the shoats will freeze for a couple of seconds and you can easily pick off one or two.

Inject it and put in a cajun micro or on pit.

Edit: Didn't see this was already stated - even better.
