Are there any true Army Surplus stores still open in Louisiana?

Entrance Rd. on Ft. Polk. I bought some BDU pants there last year.
There was another one just off 171 between Mansfield and Shreveport. I haven't been there in years, but he had some good stuff.

I'm near Monroe. Will check into that one near Shreveport next time there.

Maybe Gonzales Military Surplus. Most just sell aftermarket crap these days.

Check with the store next to the Cheniere Shack on Hwy 80 just East of the Cheniere intersection. They used to have a limited amount of army surplus there

Alexandria used to have Big M Military Surplus on Lee St, was next to Abe’s Pawn Shop. Was a really good store, & around Christmas offered free gift wrapping…

I still remember the unique smell of a legit army surplus store from when I was a kid. Even then it was about 50% aftermarket stuff.

Depends on what you're looking for, but the one in Gonzales is pretty good.

Gonzales store is decent. Smaller selection but they have some stuff. Used to be great one at Fort Polk but I haven’t been in many years. Omaha in Fort Worth is the best I’ve ever seen. They have a website too. Great selection there.

We used to get Vietnam-era insect repellent from a surplus store in Vinton, LA, in the early '70's. Talk about stopping skeeters in their tracks!

I rrmember a 6 - 12 repellant from years ago. A lil dab behind each ear all mosquitos gnats etc left town. Lol

Army clothing for hunting. Both early season and ECWS for winter. Pancho and other wet weather gear.

I remember Sinclair’s Army Surplus in Baton Rouge like it was yesterday. RIP Robert Sinclair. He was a great man and true patriot.
